Golden Bridge Award
Karel Peeters was twice nominated for the Golden Bridge Award (1997 and 1998). Both times he became second laureate. The Golden Bridge rewards business concerns in Belgium and Luxembourg for their efforts to increase export towards the United Kingdom.
Guiness World Record
For their 30th anniversary Chantelly modelled a giant chocolate eel weighing 920 kg. The world's biggest "praline" was well worth a mention in the Guiness Book of Record.
Sant in eigen land 2008
Chantelly received the 'Sant in eigen land' Award, category Best Company. This price is an initiative of the 'Sant-Comity', a supporting group for small and medium businesses. The 'Sant in eigen land' Award is given to a company, or entrepreneur of the Waasland region for exceptional achievement.
